The attraction features characters and scenes inspired by the 2013 release of 'Frozen' and also the 2015 short 'Frozen Fever'. The ride begins with a short storytelling from Grand Pabbie about how Anna and Kristoff met, and then guests ascend into Elsa's icy palace and come face-to-face with the ice queen herself. Following this, riders join Marshmallow and the Snowgies before heading down the rides short drop into a firework finale in Arendelle!

There is no height requirement to ride this attraction, but it is recommended that children be accompanied by an adult at all times. Frozen Ever After does not have any restraint system due to its slow and gentle nature The ride lasts approximiately 4 minutes and 30 seconds. This attraction does not have a designated pre-show, but the queue is very well themed. Outside this attraction, near to the 'Royal Sommerhus', there is a shop selling a lot of Frozen merchandise. There are no scheduled refurbishments for this attraction. This ride is one that shouldn't be missed if possible, it is fantastically themed, and overall very well done - but we certainly wouldn't wait 5 hours for it!

A few facts about Frozen Ever After

- Soarin' uses an IMAX omni-max projection system with the video content being played back at 48fps, thats twice the quality and speed as a normal film or television show!

- The ride system was designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, and was originally created using an Erector Set model kit by Mark Sumner. One million pounds of steel are used in the ride structure, and during each ride cycle, 37 tonnes are lifted!

- Due to airspace restrictions above Yosimite, it took several months for Disney to get permission to fly a helicopter over Yosimite National Park to get the ride footage. The last time a helicopter had flown across this area was in the mid-1900's!

- When filming for the original Soarin' attraction, Disney had to pay rights to fly above some locations - strangely, Disneyland was the most expensive segment to film!
