Disney has today announced two brand new Meet and Greet experiences coming to Hollywood Studios this Spring. The 'Celebrity Spotlight' meet and greet location will be accessible from Echo Lake, and "Mickey and Minnie Starring in Red Carpet Dreams" will be accessible near to the Sci Fi Dine In restaurant. According to the Disney Parks Blog;
"You’ll walk the red carpet and step into a scene with Minnie, where she appears as a Tinsel Town starlet in a ritzy setting straight out of a lush and colorful musical extravaganza. Nearby, you will find Mickey portraying his iconic role of the Sorcerer’s Apprentice from “Fantasia"." Along with Mickey and Minnie, Olaf will also be meeting guests for the first time (in forever!)!
The new experiences will use the rooms formerly used for the American Idol Experience audition rooms, the Radio Studio and the former Sony lounge. Mickey and Minnie currently meet in temporary locations at the park, after they were moved from the Animation building by the Star Wars Launch Bay which opened in December 2015.
