Soarin' Around the World at Epcot, opened its doors to park guests this morning. The new experience replaces to California film which has shown at Epcot since 2005. The ride had been closed for refurbishment since January, but re-opened a few weeks ago for final flights over California. This morning saw masses of guests head to the park to experience the attraction on its first day of operation.
Soon after opening, the wait time exceeded three hours! Not only has a new film debuted, but new queue enhancements have been added - including the opportunity to play a Soarin' quiz using your smartphone.
