Frozen Ever After - Rider Review

The Frozen Ever After attraction opened yesterday at Epcot, and its opening day was far from perfect! The ride was constantly breaking down and being evacuated, and queues reached 5 hours! The ride was infact down from 11am through 2:30pm due to technical difficulties and the FastPass queue reached through the China pavilion! Quite a few lucky guests got to ride on the Maelstrom replacement though, and reviews were overly positive. Although we could not get out to cover the opening, we have been in contact with Brad Hughes - from Daily Disney Blog - who took a voyage on the new boat ride. You can see his review below...

The queue is amazingly themed, with beautiful lighting and effects throughout. "Once I was in the queue I really loved it, I thought it was really well done, and actually makes me think of the Tangled Restrooms, there are lanterns everywhere..."

"...the attraction has been very well done and impressive, but this scene is a game changer. This Elsa animatronic is hands down the most impressive thing I have ever seen. The way she moves her arms is so realistic, it puts everything else Imagineering has done to shame, its that good..."

Brad summarizes his experience riding the new attraction: "All in all this attraction is wonderful, whimsical, and extremely immersive. I am so very thankful that they didn’t drop the ball on this attraction. I can not wait to ride this again, and I would wait five more hours if I had to, its worth it. And I never say that...."
