Plans for re-imagining Epcot's Future World may be in the final stages of planning. Before park opening, Imagineering conducted height tests using balloons. They are typically used to check sightlines and obstructions from other areas of the park. The balloons were put up near to Ellen's Energy Adventure, where it is rumored a Guardians of the Galaxy attraction will end up. It is expected that Ellen's Energy Adventure will be stripped, including the ride system, and replaced with a brand new attraction. Disney has not announced any changes to Epcot at this stage, although numerous other additions are expected - including a replacement for IllumiNations.
