MagicBandCollectors.com is reporting that a new FitBit-style MagicBand is in development at Disney. Instead of the one-piece band like current, there would be a puck type device, containing the RFID chip, that could be put into different straps. It is being reported that having so many MagicBand ID's linked to guests' accounts are slowing Disney servers. The new bands are currently being tested internally, but it is unknown when they will be released.
