Tropical Depression 9 is due to hit the theme park areas later this week. The current forecast is for the tropical storm to hit on Thursday with sustained winds between 39 and 73mph, with heavy rainfall. The storm is expected to severely impact all outdoor attraction offerings, all outdoor entertainment, transport around the resort and Disney's water parks.
It is too early at this stage to determine the exact impact, but it is expected that all nighttime offerings at the parks will be cancelled, the water parks closed, and outdoor rides to remain shut throughout the bad weather.
At this time, it is expected that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will go ahead this Friday.
