Toy Story Land is currently under construction at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and will not be completed for a few years. Therefore, we will be posting a timeline of any updates below until the land opens! The newest updates will be at the top of the list below...

20th April 2016: At a media preview event for the Awaken Summer events, Disney announces further information about the Toy Story expansion to Hollywood Studios, including the official names for the two new attractions coming to the area when it opens! The Slinky coaster will be called 'Slinky Dog Dash' and the Green Alien ride will be known as 'Alien Twirling Saucers'. 4th April 2016: Various Hollywood Studios attractions including the Streets of America and Lights Motors Action Extreme Stunt Show, close to make way for the expansion projects at the park.

15th August 2015: Toy Story Land is officially announced at the D23 Expo. There will be two new attractions in Toy Story Land. The first is a Little Green Aliens ride similar to 'Maters Junkyard Jamboree' at Disney's California Adventure. The second ride will be a family roller coaster aboard Slinky Dog! Andy has built the coaster using his toy coaster play kit and he has replaced the ride vehicle with Slinky! Toy Story Mania will also be expanded with a third track (which was previously announced alongside the Soarin' expansion project), and will also become part of the land. Kathy Magnum will be leading this project.
