Upcoming Refurbishments and Closings (April 2015)

Below is an extensive list of the upcoming refurbishments, rehabs and closings for attractions, rides, restaurants and other locations, at Walt Disney World. Refurbishments are, of course, subject to change and extension - therefore you should check the latest list on our park pages! We will be posting an 'Upcoming Refurbishments and Closings' in the middle of each month (between the 10th and 20th of each calendar month...)

Magic Kingdom

- 'Its A Small World' will be closed between 14th April 2015 and 17th April 2015.

- 'Big Thunder Mountain Railroad' will be closed between 27th April 2015 and 30th April 2015.

- 'Jungle Cruise' will be closed between 13th April 2015 and 18th May 2015.

- 'Liberty Square Riverboat' will be closed between 4th August 2015 and 10th August 2015.

- 'Dream Along With Mickey' will be closed between 19th July 2015 and 22nd August 2015.

- 'Pirates of the Caribbean' will be closed between 11th May 2015 and 25th September 2015.

- 'Liberty Tree Tavern' will be closed between 6th July 2015 and 19th November 2015.

Epcot

- There are no scheduled refurbishments or closings at Epcot! :)

Hollywood Studios

- 'Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show' will be closed between 20th April 2015 and 24th April 2015.

- 'Voyage of the Little Mermaid' will be closed between 7th September 2015 and 10th September 2015.

Animal Kingdom

- 'Flame Tree Barbecue' will be closed until 22nd April 2015.

- 'Creature Comforts' will be closed until 14th June 2015.

WDW Water Parks

- There are no scheduled refurbishments or closings at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon! :)

General/Other

- Between 10th March 2015 and Summer 2015, the Express Monorail Beam - which serves the Magic Kingdom and the TTC - Will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11:30am until 6pm. The Resort Monorail Beam will still be in full operation during these times. Extra buses and watercraft will be available for guests wishing to travel to either the Magic Kingdom, or the Transportation and Ticket Center.
