Selfie Sticks banned from all WDW parks!

Selfie Sticks are now officially banned in all Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks and DisneyQuest. The photo taking sticks were originally only banned on attractions at the parks, but Disney has gone a step further and banned them from the whole park. Beginning 30th June 2015, guests bags will be checked at the security bag check for selfie sticks. If a stick is found, a cast member will escort guests to Guest Services where their stick will be taken away, and kept until guests decide to leave the park. In a statement to Cast Members, Disney said; “We strive to provide a great experience for the entire family, and unfortunately selfie sticks have become a growing safety concern for both our guests and cast. The use of selfie sticks also compromises our ability to deliver on The Four Keys Basics: Safety, Courtesy, Show and Efficiency". No other Florida theme parks have banned selfie sticks yet...
