This year, 2015, marks the 20th anniversary of the Annual Food and Wine Festival which is held at Epcot. For the first time in the events history, the Marketplace Kiosks will be expanding into the Futureworld areas of the park.
The hosts of ABC's 'The Chew' will also be taping shows throughout the event from Epcot. The team will also be featured in two Future World kiosks:
- The Next Eats Festival Area will feature three dishes from 'The Chew'. The area will be an eco-home inspired marketplace and will offer guests the chance to learn more about food production and growing techniques, along with the importance of sustainability when growing food.
- Also in Next Eats Festival Marketplace, Disney chefs will be joined by 'The Chew' for the Chew Lab, a state-of-the-art area inspired by food-science labs and culinary tech trends.
5 shows of 'The Chew' will be taped on 7th, 8th and 9th October 2015 in front of live audiences (see The Chew website for more details about tickets), and these episodes will be broadcast on the ABC network between 12th and 16th October.
