Joe Rhode and Bob Weis expand their Imagineering roles...

Two of the highest rank Imagineers at Disney are expanding their roles across the world. Joe Rohde, who is currently the creative lead for the Animal Kingdom Avatarland expansion, will now expand his Imagineering role to take on the global creative leadership of Disney's Marvel property... Rohde will also continue his overseeing of the Aulani Resort's creative work...
Bob Weis, who is involved in the creation of the brand new Shanghi Disney Resort, will also now take on creative lead at Hong Kong Disneyland. He is best known for his work on MGM Studios, and also the DCA expansion project.
Scott Trowbridge has recently been announced as the lead of all Star Wars projects, and the new apointment and expansion of Rohde's and Weis' roles show where Disney will be focussing its Imagineering efforts.
