Next week, it is expected that Disney will begin allocated seating tests at Fantasmic! performances... No FastPass+ advance reservations will be available, and guests will be encourged to reserve ths show using one of the in-park kiosk on the day of the show. Guests will be able to reserve specific seats, rows and blocks, depending on the day of testing...
21st and 22nd July 2015 will be allocated seats. 23rd and 24th will be allocating specific rows. 27th and 29th July 2015 will be allocating a specific section of the amphitheater. The Fantasmic show is so popular that guests arrive up to 2 hours in advance to the show. Disney is trying to reduce this time to a maximum of 30 minutes, but needs to remove the seating anxiety that is clear within the guests - Disney needs to reassure the guests that they will get a seat at the show. The theater does have a 7000 seat capacity, and does commonly become full in peak times of the year!
