Disney has today confirmed that the current Magic Kingdom Vice President, Phil Holmes, will be soon swapping roles with the current VP of Hollywood Studios, Dan Cockerell. This change is expected to occur over the next month, and is thought to be related to the huge DHS expansion project which is set to get underway sometime later this year...
Phil Holmes has worked for WDW for 40 years, and has previously been the VP of Animal Kingdom, and has also had overseas positions at Disneyland Resort Paris. He has been the VP of Magic Kingdom Park since the 2000's. Dan Cockerell has worked for 25 years ast the company, he has been mangers at a few Disney World Resort hotels, and later became VP of Epcot, before moving to DHS.
New 'General Managers of Park Operations' have been appointed for Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
