Due to technical issues, the Summit Plummet and Slush Gusher water slides will be closed for the rest of the season at Blizzard Beach Water Park. The park closes for its winter refurbishment on 4th October, and the two major healdliner slides will be closesd until the park re-opens in early 2016. Technical problems resulted in a park closure on Friday. But although the park re-opened on Saturday, the Summit Plummet and Slush Gusher attractions did not. It was thought they would be operational by Tuesday 22nd September, but the problems seem to be more serious than was initially anticipated.
