Andrew Gerson, of Miami, was arrested last week after he attempted to bring a gun into Disney World's Magic Kingdom. On 4th December, at around 5pm, a security guard noticed a gun outline on Gerson's body. The security department notified the sheriff's deputy immediately, who followed the man. The deputy had a gun pointed at him before he dropped to his knees and announced that he had a gun. The gun was later identified as a "snub-nosed revolver loaded with five hollow-point bullets". Gerson had an expired concealed weapons permit, so was therefore illegally carrying the gun.
A Walt Disney World spokesperson said, “We immediately engaged law enforcement and the matter was resolved quickly and without incident. Our policies are clear, and we have zero tolerance for any violation of them.
